Description: Interpretations is a reader that was put together within the framework of the Q-O2 Winter School 2014 which looked into the topic of interpretation, aiming to unfold new perspectives on how artists work with sound and music today. Interpretations maps the discursive terrain of composition and improvisation, the potential of material and its limitations, ways of performance, memory strategies and notation and authorship.
